Italian cuisine it’s not just pasta and pizza as a lot of people think. Each region offers its unique dishes and flavors. On Sicily the variety of traditional food is so big that we even didn’t have time to try everything. The most popular are pasta com le sarde, caponata, arancine, zuppa di pesce alla siracusana, Sicilian cannoli, cassata, torta setteveli and this is not the full list. 🤩😍😋 All is so delicious and served in big portions so now you understand why it’s was difficult to refuse 🤪😄 I definitely recommend you Sicily not only for the beautiful architecture and landscapes, warm sea but also for the excellent food tourism.
For example, this trattoria with an authentic name Ferro di Cavallo in Palermo has a choice of delicious pastas and seafood, and while you’re waiting for the table (there is a huge line every evening), you will be offered salads and starters along with fresh Prosecco just for free!

If I could take the part of each city where I’ve been, I would choose flavors. Scent and taste are the strongest triggers and how amazing it would be to have a box with favorite places. Coffee takeaway vs in café.
I used to think that Portuguese just lagged behind world since they almost don’t have the service to buy coffee to drink it on the way to work / school. On my 4th year of living in Porto - oh hallelujah! - finally I saw the places providing such a service that are not Costa café and McDonald's. However, this was not the case at all. It's just that Portuguese, proud of their best coffee in Europe and loyal to longstanding traditions, do not want to consume this drink while running somewhere. They will always find time for a cup of strong café curto (espresso) (they usually don’t drink Americano, so somehow, it will not take too much to take a couple of sips) or for a longer galão (latte). Devotion to this habit makes unpopular takeaway coffee. Yes, and what can we say, of course, it is better to make 10-15 minutes for a pleasant ritual than slurp it on the move spilling a drink around. ☕️

Раньше я думала, что португальцы просто отстали от жизни, раз у них практически нет услуги купить кофе в стаканчике, чтобы выпить его по дороге на работу/учебу. На 4-м году жизни в Порту - о аллилуйя! - наконец-то я увидела заведения предоставляющие такую услугу, кроме Costa café и Макдоналдс. Однако дело оказалось совсем не в этом. Просто у португальцев, гордых своим лучшим в Европе кофе и верных многолетним традициям, нет желания поглощать этот напиток на бегу. Они всегда найдут время на чашечку крепкого кафе curto (эспрессо) в заведении (они практически не пьют американо, поэтому, так или иначе, выпить пару глотков не займёт много времени) или на более длительный галау (латте). Преданность этой привычке и делает непопулярным тэйк эвей кофе.
